10 September 2026 – Tokyo – Numerical Technologies (“NumTech”) today announced that it has received a SOC 2® Type 2 report for NtSaaS®, its SaaS-based financial risk management solution, covering internal controls relevant to security.

The report provides existing and prospective NtSaaS customers with an objective, independent assessment of the design and operation of NumTech’s internal controls relevant to security. As a result, customers can more efficiently conduct the reviews required for cloud service onboarding and periodic third-party assessments.

As the use of cloud services continues to expand, financial institutions are increasingly seeking objective evidence of service providers’ security and internal control environments as part of their third-party and supply chain risk management. Traditionally, such reviews have often involved provider-specific questionnaires and individual interviews, placing a considerable burden on both customers and service providers.

NumTech concluded that an independent examination under a standardized framework would be an effective way to meet its accountability to customers and therefore underwent the examination required for the issuance of a SOC 2 Type 2 report. A SOC 2 Type 2 report is an attestation report based on the Trust Services Criteria established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It evaluates whether controls were suitably designed and operated effectively throughout the examination period.

The SOC 2 Type 2 report is restricted in its distribution. It is available to existing and prospective NtSaaS customers subject to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

The scope of the examination is summarized below.
