SINGAPORE – 19 OCTOBER 2010 – Numerical Technologies Managing Director Hideyuki Torii presented at the 2010 GPU Symposium hosted by GPU Computing Study Group and held at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. In his presentation, Mr. Torii discussed the rising popularity of GPGPU technology in high-performance computing (HPC), the GPGPU performance in complex scientific and financial calculations, and the barriers that impede financial companies from investing in GPGPU technology.

Mr. Torii also demonstrated the derivative calculation capability of NtParallel, an API library that Numerical Technologies has developed to help businesses easily and cost-effectively support GPGPU computing. NtParallel supports Microsoft Excel®.
