SINGAPORE – 12 JANUARY 2011 – Numerical Technologies announced the release of NtRand® 3.1 today. The latest version of NtRand®, a free Microsoft Excel add-in RNG (random number generator) based on the Mersenne Twister algorithm, includes 36 new functions that mainly focuses on statistical hypothesis test.
These probability distributions applicable to statistical hypothesis test have been added:
- Chi square distribution (includes Pearson’s , Yates’, and Mantel-Heanszel’s chi-square tests, Bartlett’s test, and so forth)
- F distribution (includes F-test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Friedman test, Levene test, and so forth)
- Student’s t distribution (includes Student’s t-test, Welch test, and so forth)
The following probability distributions have also been added:
- Chi distribution
- Gamma distribution
