27 JUNE 2023 – Tokyo – Numerical Technologies (“NumTech”) is pleased to announce the successful transition of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) system of National Mutual Agricultural Cooperatives Federation (headquartered in Tokyo, “Zenkyoren”) from NtInsight® to NtSaaS®, marking the official release today.
The project involved a major migration of applications, servers, and infrastructure from on-premises to a hybrid configuration utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
In order to achieve the migration, Zenkyoren strategically utilized Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) for system operations and services provided through Software as a Service (SaaS), effectively reducing overall maintenance costs and improving the operational efficiency of the ERM system.
Zenkyoren utilizes two solutions provided by NumTech. One is market and credit risk for operational risk measurement (VaR measurement), and the other is asset and liability management (ALM measurement) which involves generating comprehensive information such as BS, PL, and various KPIs. In this project, NumTech conducted performance evaluations of NtSaaS in multiple cases, considering the anticipated usage scenarios after the transition. Based on the feedback gathered from the user department, NumTech proposed the optimal environment of NtSaaS for Zenkyoren.
On the next-generation platform NtSaaS, which offers flexible solutions tailored to the needs of its customers, NumTech will continue to provide traditional risk measurement services as well as explore new services.
